Religion Bads

If God sees everything, and someone believes that doing wrong is sinning, and sinning is obviously wrong, then why do people do bad things? Is it because they are ignorant to the fact that they are doing the wrong, or do they really not believe God sees everything?

If Hell didn't exist, how many people would go to church? My grandma always said "Go to church to avoid going to Hell", but I rarely heard "We're going to church to get to Heaven". So if you think about it, would people still go to church if hell wasnt the punishing incentive?

Stereotypes

Probably my biggest pet peeve about stereotypes of overweight people, is that, because we're bigger, we eat way more than anyone else. I mean, think about the common insult "Don't eat me" or "Go eat a cupcake".

Actually, I say I eat about the same or less as the average skinny person, the misconception should be made on me not getting excersize or having a low metablism, not eating more.

Stupid Warnings

Child-size Superman and Batman costumes come with this warning label: "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."

A clothes iron comes with this caution: "Warning: Never iron clothes on the body."

The box of a 500-piece puzzle reads: "Some assembly required."

Cans of Easy Cheese contain this instruction: "For best results, remove cap."

The label on the Harry Potter toy broom: "This broom does not actually fly."

Why did the chicken cross the road?

  • To win the barnyard olympic mile
  • He was participating in a pole vaulting competition and forgot his pole
  • He was trying to reach the vegetarians
  • The hens tricked him into believing that the road was a safe haven from hungry humans.
  • He was chasing a golf ball as Tiger Woods's new caddy.

New Job

So I finally have the means to start saving up for college with a new job at Wendy's. Yes, I said I'd never work in fast food, but now I'm eating my words, literally. My dad worked as district manager for twenty years and hired the current district manager, so with a simple phone call, I got a job. It's pretty easy work, just tiring. And I'm getting a ton of hours, which is a good thing, because it's good money. But I don't have the free time for SGC or other activities anymore.
